Time zone planning FAQ

How does the planner handle daylight-saving time?

It uses browser IANA time-zone data for the selected date. Nonexistent local times are rejected, and repeated times require you to choose the earlier or later occurrence.

Why can a meeting have different local dates?

Time zones can be many hours apart, so one instant may fall on different calendar dates in different locations. Each location shows its own local date.

How are working-hour suggestions ranked?

The planner checks 30-minute points on the selected date and ranks them by the number of selected locations within your configured weekday workday. It does not claim partial availability is suitable for everyone.

Which cities and time zones can I compare?

Common locations include Sana’a, London, New York, Los Angeles, Dubai, Riyadh, Mumbai, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney. You can also search the browser’s supported IANA time-zone identifiers.

Are my meeting details sent or stored?

No. Conversions and suggestions run locally in your browser. The planner does not send or save selected cities, dates, or times.
